How Contagious is Shigellosis?
Shigella was in the news this week following an outbreak of Shigellosis linked to a Subway restaurant in Lombard, Illinois. With eight confirmed cases of Shigella food poisoning and other possibly related illnesses reported, the Subway restaurant was closed.
